Writing - We began putting together our writing portfolio's by typing up final drafts of writing pieces we had previously completed. We continued "pop-up writing" with an emphasis on a strong introduction, main ideas with details, and a wrap-up conclusion. Students are given an opinion writing prompt and have 15 minutes to make their case as to why they think their opinion is correct. Science - We finished our chapter on magnetism. We learned about many facts about how and why magnets are weird. Students were assessed after a few fun experiments. Check our class photo's page for more! Microsociety - New ventures have been announced! Meetings between facilitators and venture owners will continue this week, with the next job fair lined up for Friday, April 8th *We continued our "burning questions" activity in which one student per week poses any question with which they are curious.
